Favicon generator
Pick a logo or icon image and get the complete favicon set: a real favicon.ico containing 16, 32 and 48 px versions, plus apple-touch-icon.png (180) and the 192 and 512 px PNGs manifests expect, all in one zip. Nothing is uploaded.

or pick them from your device: several at once is fine
Files never leave your device: this page has no server to send them to.
How it works
Non-square images are center-cropped to a square first, then each size is rendered on its own canvas and encoded as PNG. The .ico file is assembled in the standard container format with the PNGs embedded, which every modern browser and Windows version reads. Test your mark at 16 px: fine detail disappears at that size, and strong simple shapes win.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes do I actually need in 2026?
favicon.ico with 16/32/48 for browsers and Windows, apple-touch-icon.png at 180 for iOS, and 192 plus 512 PNGs for the web app manifest and Android. That is exactly the set this tool produces.
My logo is not square. What happens?
It gets center-cropped to a square before rendering. If the crop cuts something important, prepare a square version with padding first (our resize tool can help) and generate from that.
How do I install the files on my site?
Put favicon.ico at the site root, then reference the PNGs from your HTML head: apple-touch-icon for iOS and the 192/512 icons from your web manifest. Most frameworks have a documented spot for each.
