Navarra and the Basque Country run their own income taxes, not a regional half of the Spanish one, so they are not in this list.

The formula
Net = profit − annual cuota (2026 RETA bracket table) − estimated IRPF. IRPF applies the 19-47% reference scale to profit minus cuota, with the 5,550-euro personal minimum credit.
What this assumes
Contributing at the bracket's minimum base, income tax estimated on profit minus the quota with only the personal minimum applied, and no regional deductions. Pick your comunidad to use its half of the scale instead of the reference one: the same profit costs noticeably less in Madrid than in the Comunidad Valenciana. Constants verified August 2026 and reviewed each January.
FAQ
- Why does my gestor quote a different number?
- Because your real case adds pieces assumed neutral here: your region's exact scale, family minimums, pension contributions, deductions. This calculator sets the honest baseline; your gestor tunes it. If the gap is huge, ask which piece explains it.
- How much should I set aside each month?
- The effective rate shown here is your rule: at 30%, move 30% of every payment into a separate account and June's Renta and the 130 installments stop being surprises. Round up, never down.
- At what profit does an SL start making sense?
- No magic number, but the conversation typically starts above a sustained 60,000-80,000 euros of profit, when the potential tax saving beats the company's fixed costs (accounting, payroll, rigidity). Our freelancer vs SL comparison runs that math with your numbers.
